we have this large open field right in front of our home. i call it our central park view. ok, not really. but lovely nevertheless! right now, flowers in various shades of pink are blooming everywhere, and the field is beckoning us for a visit. we happily obliged. until a set of long thorny briars tore at baby kate’s little ankles. then that was the end of that photo session!

oh, and buzz wanted some photos, too. by the pink flowers, of course.

kate’s adorable dress is from old navy and i get these toms classic canvas slip ons in ash every time she outgrows a pair. they are so cute and goes with every outfit!

poor baby, i had no idea her ankles got cut up here from those thorns! i thought maybe it was just nap time and she was just tired. and sweet jack, trying to make her feel better by giving her flowers.
